Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing individuals to the appropriate entry points within the location.
- Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries, help to deter unauthorized access, and document security-related events in accordance with post orders and client guidelines.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying the appropriate contacts and supporting emergency response activities when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gates, trailer yards, and perimeter to identify unusual activity, report concerns, and support security-related operations.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitor traffic, vendor arrivals, shipment-related activity, and/or access control exceptions while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
