Security Officer Gate Attendant

About the role

As a Security Officer Gate Attendant in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. You will help manage entry points, verify visitors and credentials, and maintain a visible presence that helps deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting residents and guests.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and/or contractors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for visitors and vendors, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access-control issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document observations, incidents, and shift activities accurately; report suspicious activity, property concerns, and policy violations to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Skills

• Fluent Spanish speaking and writing skills.
• Computer or tablet proficiency.
• Access control and badge experience.
