Job Skills / Requirements

• Current position: Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers
• Shift: Tuesday- Friday, 5:45am-1:30pm/2pm
• Hourly wage: $19.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Loss Prevention: Check vehicles in and give directions as to where their product is in the lumber yard. Check products upon exit to ensure correct purchase.
• Computers: Use hand-held computers and have a good understanding of computers.
• Product Knowledge: Good knowledge of the building industry and construction is required.
• Walking: Busy in the summer months, a lot of walking required on concrete.
• Communication: A lot of interaction with the public, must be able to communicate well.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain security of premises by monitoring premises, examining doors, windows, and gates, warning violators of rules, addressing suspicious or criminal acts, and reporting facility issues.
• Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations.

Qualifications

• Age: 18 years or older
• Familiarity with security equipment
• Physical workload: Ability to handle physical workload
• Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail

Education Requirements (All)
