Security Officer Full Time X Ray Patrol

About the role

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time X Ray Patrol in Orlando, FL. In this role at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and screening activities. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, trailers, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or site policy concerns
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization according to site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs
• Support the orderly movement of personnel, deliveries, and transportation operations while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized access

Requirements

• At least 6 months of security-related experience
• At least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• X-ray screening experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred
• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• A guard card or license is preferred

Schedule: Monday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Tuesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Wednesday 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM, Sunday 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
