Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Registration in Commerce City, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help maintain a secure environment by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and conducting routine patrols. Your visible presence and customer-focused communication will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, and maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the business, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify security-related concerns
• Communicate professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership while documenting observations, incidents, and access-related activity

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience is preferred
• Loss prevention experience is preferred
• Customer service experience is preferred

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $21.70 / Hour

Schedule: DayTime Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM, Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM, Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
