Security Officer Full Time Visitor Credential Desk

About the role

As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence for tenants and visitors. You will manage access control, assist with badges, monitor alarm panels and security-related activity, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients at a commercial real estate front desk by following site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs and other front-desk records.
• Answer incoming calls, provide directions and general property information, and coordinate with building management, tenants, and emergency contacts as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents to the appropriate personnel and complete required documentation.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
