About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Route Patrol in Santa Fe Springs, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or property management personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of commercial real estate buildings, parking areas, common spaces, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe visitor and contractor activity, and report suspicious conditions, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and documenting actions taken.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift communications while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
