Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver Route Patrol

About the role
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, loading areas, and the perimeter.
- Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
- Assist with access control, traffic flow, and incident documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
