About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Route Patrol Driver in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and port personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned port facilities, buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor authorized entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation in accordance with site-specific procedures.

Requirements

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licenses and certifications are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
