Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Vehicle Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Penns Grove, NJ, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming, orderly environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in the job state. You will communicate professionally with associates and visitors while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, caring, and integrity-driven culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, delivery-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site-specific procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
- Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation accurately and promptly.
Requirements
- At least two years of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$18.25 / hour
Schedule
- Thursday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Friday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Saturday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Sunday: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
