About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - S 16th St. in La Porte, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a dynamic operation through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while contributing to a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and help support authorized entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly using required reporting tools.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.

• Friday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sunday: 06:00 PM - 06:00 AM

$15.45 / Hour
