About the Role
As a Security Officer - Unarmed Full-Time in West Chester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a financial institution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service. Pay
$19.50 / Hour
Schedule
Full Time, Daytime: Monday through Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site requirements.
- Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
