Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Service Patrol in Leesburg, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols and responsive assistance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a data center location
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, perimeter, parking areas, access points, and other assigned areas to help identify and report security-related concerns
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and delivery activity in accordance with site policies and escalation procedures
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as directed
• Document observations, incidents, and completed patrols in required reports and logs

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service experience is preferred
• A guard card or license is preferred
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred

Pay

$23.00 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time. Daytime shifts Tuesday through Saturday, 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM.
