Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Prevention Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a manufacturing and industrial location in Macedonia, OH, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial and distribution areas, including building interiors, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help identify unusual activity and potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures; verify credentials and direct individuals to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs while maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the location.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
