As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Suspicious Activity Detection in Grove City, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Logistics & Distribution. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and drivers. The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, clear communication, and responding to security‑related concerns with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and personnel while carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and maintain visitor and delivery records in accordance with site requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, parking areas, loading zones, trailer yards, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following established site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any licensing requirements required by state or local regulations.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$17.98 per hour.

Schedule

Daytime shifts: Tuesday through Saturday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
