About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Miami, FL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate clearly with visitors and team members, and respond professionally to site needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access activity and support visitor and contractor entry procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications for site leadership and Allied Universal management.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
