About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service to visitors, tenants, and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to concerns, and support a positive environment through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, shoppers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail and mall location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the property, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, suspicious behavior, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications with accuracy and professionalism.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
