About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Saint Charles, MO, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and stakeholders while supporting a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, access concerns, or facility conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, while maintaining professional interactions with personnel and visitors.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations and follow site escalation procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and daily activity logs for patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
