About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Incident Recorder in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.
What You'll Do
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, parking areas, entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor, staff, and vendor activity; report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations to appropriate site contacts.
- Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- Possess at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
