About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. You will monitor and patrol a premier residential club community, helping to maintain a secure and welcoming environment for residents, members, and guests. This driving position includes conducting routine patrols, remaining visible to help deter incidents, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to residents, members, guests, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of residential buildings, amenities, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry when applicable, and maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with residents, guests, vendors, and staff while supporting a welcoming environment and following established post orders.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Guard Card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
