Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Response

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Hazelwood, MO, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy Requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorization, and contractor check-in requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear and timely activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications using site-approved reporting tools.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
