Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Compliance

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Compliance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, operate a vehicle as part of this driving post, monitor alarm panels, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors, tenants, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail common areas, tenant spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.39 per hour.

Full-time. Shift times:

• Monday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Tuesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Wednesday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• Saturday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
• Sunday: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
