Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting

About the role
As an unarmed patrol officer at a hotel location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service to guests and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond professionally to security-related concerns, and contribute to Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture through teamwork and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to hotel guests, visitors, and staff while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to guest concerns, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hotel public areas, guest-accessible spaces, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to site procedures.
- Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications as required.
Requirements
- Possess at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
