About the role
Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic airport location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Use computer or tablet systems to document observations and communicate professionally with travelers, employees, and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to airport visitors, passengers, employees, and tenants while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, public areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards.
- Monitor access to designated areas, observe activity, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and security-related concerns according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation for patrol activities, incidents, and security-related observations.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
