Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Deterrence

About the role
As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Plano, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify authorized personnel and vehicle entry as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
- Observe shipping and receiving activity for compliance with site-specific procedures and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of security-related experience.
- At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Customer service experience is preferred.

$19.25 / hour
Schedule
- Wednesday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Thursday: 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Saturday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
- Sunday: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM
