Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Preparedness

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Preparedness in Falls Church, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and support a caring environment through teamwork and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and help verify authorized entry in accordance with site-specific visitor, employee, and vendor procedures.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and other security-related activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Requirements

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

$20.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time overnight shifts: Tuesday through Saturday, 9:45 PM – 6:00 AM
