Security Officer Full Time Unarmed CPR Patrol

About the role
As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location in Doral, FL, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver dependable service through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, innovative culture.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused business location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, common areas, loading and receiving locations, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
- Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Requirements
- At least one year of security-related experience.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
