Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Readiness

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of government buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, credential verification, and direction of individuals in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, and security-related observations.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay Rate: $17.50 / Hour

Schedule

• Tuesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Thursday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
