About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Certified in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to visitors, employees, and partners at a government transportation location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at public transportation facilities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit stations, platforms, parking areas, administrative spaces, and surrounding perimeters to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with site contacts, dispatch, and Allied Universal leadership regarding daily activities and incidents.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• At least 21 years of age (18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Preferred qualifications: CPR certification, customer service experience, and a guard card or license.

$29.93 / hour
