Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol CPR Certified

The position is a full‑time Armed Patrol Security Officer in Charlotte, NC, serving financial institutions and other clients. The role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents, responding to security‑related concerns, and delivering exceptional customer service and communication. Professionalism, sound judgment, integrity, and a people‑first culture are essential. An armed guard card or license is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or customers at a financial institution by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and assist with visitor management in accordance with site‑specific requirements.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of the facility, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security‑related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.

Requirements

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience, or a criminal justice degree.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

$29.40 per hour

Daytime: Monday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Thursday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Friday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Saturday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM, Sunday 10:00 PM – 06:00 AM.
