Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Coverage

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Garfield Heights, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service and communication to patients, visitors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical-related emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, and surrounding property to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, wayfinding, and compliance with location entry procedures.
• Document patrol activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with Allied Universal and location reporting requirements.

Requirements

• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
