About the Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Full Time in Camp Hill, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm panels, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will support a welcoming environment through professional communication, customer service, and use of computer or tablet systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established healthcare location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including buildings, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, and security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
