About the role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Fort Mill, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing and industrial areas, production spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
- Support a professional work environment by communicating clearly with site personnel and following Allied Universal and site-specific policies.
Requirements
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Meet licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws and regulations.
- Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
