Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location in Richardson, TX, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine observations and timely reporting of security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within an aerospace and defense environment.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, production areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report unusual conditions, equipment concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Requirements

• At least two years of security-related experience.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

$19.16 / Hour

• Monday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tuesday: 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 06:00 PM
