As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Patrol in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures, and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to the Allied Universal supervisor and site contacts.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
