About the Role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Management in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail coffeehouse location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the business, seating areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer disputes, medical events, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with site management, customers, employees, and responding public service personnel.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
