Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Operations

As a Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of technology operations areas, office spaces, parking areas, loading zones, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization according to site procedures, and report access-control concerns to designated personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Prepare clear activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff information, and communicate security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
