Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location in Ashville, OH, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide strong customer service and clear communication while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity logs.
• Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR certification is preferred.

$21.63 / hour

• Wednesday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Thursday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Friday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
