Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Sparks, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment. Professional communication with employees, visitors, and stakeholders is essential while responding to security-related concerns.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery areas in accordance with site policies; verify credentials and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to identify and report security-related concerns.
• Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, and maintain professional communication with personnel at the location.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• Tuesday: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
• Friday: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
• Saturday: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
• Sunday: 2:15 PM - 10:45 PM
