Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Ironton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help to deter incidents, support access control, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while using computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe operations and facility conditions, report hazards, equipment concerns, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Requirements

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
