Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol
About the Role
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in White Plains, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment through routine patrols, reporting, and collaboration with site personnel.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report access-control concerns in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and public emergency services as directed.
- Prepare accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and other required records, while communicating observations and concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Requirements
- Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
- Have at least one year of security-related experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation and drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
