Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

As a Security Officer (Full‑Time Unarmed Patrol) in Whitsett, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as technology, media, and telecom. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors, provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology‑focused location by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual activity, unsecured access points, and facility concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery access in accordance with site‑specific protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for patrols, incidents, observations, and security‑related concerns.

Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet (preferred).
• Customer service experience (preferred).
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants with criminal histories will be considered consistent with applicable laws.
• Drug screening required to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply based on state or local regulations.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
