Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the Role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Stuart, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical. You will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific reporting and escalation protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, contractor, and employee credentials in accordance with site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, unusual conditions, and security-related activities accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
