Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Officer in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment through exceptional customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor or contractor activity in accordance with site requirements, helping to maintain orderly entry and exit processes.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Comfortably use a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
