Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol

About the role

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout industrial work areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and check visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

$18.57 / hour

Schedule

• Wednesday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thursday: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
