Security Officer - Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operator

About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operator in Bristow, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access control and alarm response activities. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally with tenants and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to the property, verify visitor and contractor authorization as required, and report access-related irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoffs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pass a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Pay

$23.36 per hour.

• Friday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Saturday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Sunday: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
