About the role

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Operations in San Jose, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential community, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor assigned areas, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. You will contribute to a welcoming environment while responding to security-related concerns with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of residential community areas, including building exteriors, parking areas, amenities, walkways, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain detailed activity logs for patrols, incidents, and resident or guest interactions.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Possession of a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Pay

Pay Rate: $23.00 / Hour

DayTime: Wed 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Thur 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Fri 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM, Sat 09:30 PM - 06:00 AM
