What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail sales areas, common areas, exterior walkways, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points, observe activity throughout the location, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment while helping to deter theft, unauthorized access, and disruptive behavior.

Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Qualifications

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Pay & Schedule

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday — 05:00 AM to 05:00 PM
