Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Coordination

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a food and beverage location while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production, storage, receiving, office, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders when needed.
• Observe food and beverage operations for security-related concerns, report policy violations or hazards to site leadership, and support orderly operations during deliveries and shift changes.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
