As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Mobile Patrol Specialist in Columbus, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading technology data center location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and maintain accurate access-control and incident documentation.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the data center location, including building interiors, exterior areas, and perimeter points.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity, facility concerns, and potential security-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Pay

Pay Rate: $21.79 / Hour

Schedule

Full Time, Daytime: Wednesday through Sunday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM
